One of the grandest things to come out of Mexico is the ‘All Inclusive’ Resort. This concept has been perfected to the state of an art in the Quintana Roo region of Mexico which includes Riviera Maya as well as Cozumel. It’s amazing that you can get so much for so little at these resorts considering that all your food and liquor is provided - including in the room. El Cozumeleno is no exception. Your non motorized and ‘on campus’ beach toys are included as well. I have stayed at many of these resorts and the food is usually quite good and varied enough for most tastes. However, I still like to try as many of the local restaurants as I can, so I don’t get the full financial benefit of the ‘All Inclusive’ concept. I was able to get airfare for two from Tennessee, room for a week, and a car for the week for $2300.00 - hard to beat. My diving was extra and done through Scubadu for $70.00 per day for two tanks.
