To put aside my frustration and even anger at PADI (see PADI article ) ,Dressell Divers is a very efficiently and professionally run shop. They charge $95.00 for a two tank boat dive. Each diver is logged in and kept track of in the office and everyone knows all necessary info about each diver. You never get told “I don’t know”. The shop is well equipped and the facilities for gear storage and cleaning are kept in good order. I never came back from any of my 21 dives and had to look for anything. When you arrive in the morning for your first dive you are greeted by a board showing which boat of the three you will be on and who your dive masters are for the dives. This eliminates having to guess or even ask which boat to board. All the guides like Alan, Luz, and Yli are superb both in knowledge and helpfulness. I didn’t have a single disappointing dive on this trip. I spoke with the owner and he assured me the medical issue was a requirement of PADI, so shame on PADI but don’t let that spoil a good time diving.
