20 years ago the naming of Gold chain was told to be because someone actually lost a gold neckless while diving on it. Now you’re told it’s because of the brilliant gold color of the tops of the staghorn coral as sunlight reflrcts of it. Either way it’s a nice wall dive that starts off right at the surface. There is a very obvious cut or channel through the staghorn coral that leads to the outside and deep water.
