Snapper Reef

The eyes have it. Recognize my friends here - the left is a conch eye and the right is a moray eye.

The special things on Snapper Reef are the little things - especially a large population of nematodes. These babies are two to three inches long and you have to look close to see them - but once you spot them!

There are all kinds of small opportunities for a macro photographer here.

Blue urchin in sponge

Royal Gamma

Arrow crabs

Brittle star in sponge.

Cleaner shrimp

Many forms of algae proliferate the sponges and corals
