Peter’s Cave

is on the highest part of the ridge which runs the length of the island. You gotta wanta go there to make the climb from the bottom as it is a very steep climb even with the ‘steps’ leading up to it. It is also a great place to escape the wrath of any hurricane as it is deep enough to avoid some of the high winds in spite of being on the north face. It is actually possible to drive to the top and come down the stone steps. This is a shorter climb but steeper.

The climb up is exerting.

The climb down is shorter but challenging.

The entrance is rather small but opens up quickly. This helps in protection from the winds and rain.
