East Chute

Embedded anchor

A ray makes the sand slope a good place to rest.

Color is everywhere whether it be the sponges or polyps that seem to grow everywhere on the rocky reef at the edge of the chute.

East Chute, like West Chute, is a sand chute falling off from a shallow reef and sand flat to a small wall. On the sand flat is a wrecked crew boat which has been broken into several pieces by storms since it is so shallow. There is an anchor embedded in the reef as well nearby but not for certain whether or not it is the crew boats.
