Divers Net Title b

Glover’s Reef & Shark Reef

I have included both of these small shallow reefs together as they are almost identicle and are used as shallow second dives for the morning after the initial deeper dives on the wrecks. They have the same lackluster shallow coral with the usual critters and don’t let the name Shark Reef throw you. There are usually a few small nurse sharks hiding in the cracks and crevices on the bottom. Still, these are both good dives to see and photograph small crustaceans and such.

Christmas trees, crabs, and brittle stars.

Cleaner and banded coral shrimp

Sponges and soft corals abound and each has somebody living in or on it.

There are also quite a few lobsters around with the shrimp and crabs. This probably explains why you also find the nurse sharks as well as eels and other predators.
