Barbados Wreck Diving

If you’re into wrecks, Barbados is certainly for you. There are multiple wrecks in Carlisle Bay within a 5 or 10 minute boat ride. They’re the result of both sinkings by mother nature and purposeful sinkings. These wrecks are especially interesting for novice divers as they are mostly in shallow water with some just under the surface. It’s a testament to the weather in Barbados for these vessels to be so shallow and stil remarkably intact. The only deep site is a half hour away in 130 feet of water - the 360 foot Stavrosnikita. Obviously she’s not for the novice diver but well worth the trip to see her.
